Admiral’s Arch is actually what remains from a collapsed cave that has been carved and shaped by nature’s forces.
This is a beautiful place made famous by its spectacular sunset photos. The stalactites that have formed as rain has dripped through he limestone roof make a perfect frame to the fantastic lighting of the place.
The good sunset light is due to the Arch’s location at the west end of Kangaroo Island, Australia. Many of the most famous sunset photos in the world have been taken here. This one in particular has just the right amount of exposure.
